DRINKING WATER SUPPLY

The pier has a water distribution net to supply vessels. Using a pressurized pump, it has a flow of 25 and 30 m3/h per intake. The main pipe is 4” of diameter and it is made of reinforced plastic. The pipes connecting the different intakes are made of galvanized steel and the connection intakes are made of bronze. At the entrance of the pier there is a reserve water tank of 500 m³.

Water is continuously supplied by Cooperativa de Servicios Públicos (Public Services Society of Puerto Madryn - SERVICOOP) in an approximate volume of 3500-4000 m3/month, what easily covers the present needs. All the slots have measurers. There are 3 on each side of the pier.

In the area for sport boats there are 4 more intakes, 2 on each side.
